As we enter the last few days of Black History Month, we’re excited to share this beautiful illustration by terra, who we commissioned to create a design affirming Black 2SLGBTQ+ youth ❤
Here’s what terra says about this piece:
“As someone who studies herbalism and uses that knowledge in my spiritual practice, I recognize the power and peace that plants inherently carry. Many of these plants have functioned as tools of manifestation for our ancestors and ourselves. So, using culturally relevant herbs/plants, my intention is for this postcard to function in the same way; as a tool of manifestation for all who receive it. A healing and comforting reminder of what it feels like to be taken care of, something Black queer folks need more of.”
