Active listening is a type of listening where the conversation is focused on carefully hearing about a person’s feelings and experiences, and encouraging the space for the speaker to come to their own decisions about what to do.
It’s a very important and helpful skill in any situation where you are providing support to someone – and as youth organizers, that is often us!
