YouthLine is excited to welcome Queers 4 Palestine for an interactive teach-in on pinkwashing and Palestine solidarity organizing. Join the teach-in to learn more about how 2SLGBTQ+ communities can take action against pinkwashing!
YouthLine is honoured to host this important community conversation. Queer liberation cannot be achieved without the liberation of all oppressed communities. Everyone is welcome and no prior knowledge is required to join this event.

Expectations for the space:
This event is an educational workshop and community conversation on pinkwashing. Everyone is welcome and no prior knowledge is necessary. When joining the teach-in, please be mindful of the following expectations:
– Racism and anti-Palestinian racism will not be tolerated. Other forms of oppression, including antisemitism, xenophobia, homophobia, and transphobia, will not be tolerated.
– Everyone will have different lived experiences and perspectives. Please engage with others from a place of mutual respect and understanding. Reflect before you speak on whether your ideas may be harmful to others.
– Enter the space from a place of curiosity and interest. This is a space where we will be learning together.
– If you feel uncomfortable with any of the ideas that are shared, reflect on why you feel uncomfortable. While no one should feel unsafe in the space, discomfort and challenging conversations can be generative to learning.
