Recent increases in anti-2SLGBTQ+ hate and violence have targeted the rights and freedoms of queer, trans, and 2-Spirit youth in schools. Within the just last few years in Ontario, multiple school boards have decided not to fly the Pride flag, there have been calls to remove safe space stickers from classrooms, restrictions have been placed on 2SLGBTQ+ books, and anti-2SLGBTQ+ protests have targeted inclusive school curricula.
You can help us fight back in just two steps!
1. Use our letter template to write to your local representatives, demanding inclusive and supportive environments for all students.
2. Sign the pledge for inclusive schools and share your commitment on social media.
