In the 3rd episode of the season, Nourishing Our Roots hosts Ashiana (@ashiana9) & Grace (@iigraceeyi)i welcome Yami as they take us through the nuances of wellness, radical care and truth-telling. Yamikani Msosa is an anti -violence educator, support worker and movement-based facilitator currently living within traditional territories of the Wendat, Haudenosaunee, Anishnabeg, and the Mississaugas of the Credit.

Listen in as Yami shares their journey as a young arrivant from Malawi and how they traversed this colonial world to better understand their wellness and their ancestral lineage through embodied practices by digging deep into their roots and finding liberation through kemetic yoga.
In the final segment join Yami as they guide us through an embodied practice of connecting with your breath, body, spirit & heart. Learn to invite in a guide or ancestor through this practice and comprehend at a deep level that you know your body, and thus your spirit, best.
