We provide prevention, education and support for 2-Spirit, including First Nations, metis and Inuit people. We base our work on indigenous philosophies of wholistic health and wellness.

Free short term individual counselling for Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Nonbinary, Trans, Queer, Intersex, Asexual (plus!) people in the Greater Ottawa area.

Our counsellors are from the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and are here to help with: exploring and affirming your gender identity and sexual orientation, gender transition support, and connection to 2SLGBTQIA+ community groups and resources. Support for parents is available as well.

Services are for individuals with limited resources or without private insurance.

Access Line staff & volunteers are available to answer sexual & reproductive health (SRH) questions, provide pregnancy options counselling & post-abortion counselling, & provide referrals to local SRH services to anyone across Canada. Since 1987, ACCKWA has provided HIV support and prevention services in the Waterloo Region. We provide support to people living with HIV, community development services, education and outreach to key populations, clinical services, and a needle-syringe program.

Join us for thoughtful discussions and recreational activities centering Ace/Aro folks in the Ottawa Community every 1st Thursday of the month at 7PM!; and the 3rd Saturday of each month at 2PM! This in-person group is open to anyone who identifies under the asexual or aromantic umbrellas (including grey, demi, quoi, alloaro, etc). So even if you are new to the community, or have been waiting to meet and chill with other Ace/Aro folks for a while, this space is open for you. Practical and emotional support and advocacy for persons living with HIV/AIDS including counselling and support groups for women, men and youth, vitamins and supplementary drugs, drop-in, clothing exchange, emergency child care, interpretation and translation, community kitchen * prevention, education and outreach — culturally sensitive HIV/AIDS workshops, events and activities in various languages for individuals, community groups and service providers, including ProjectM for Muslim girls and women 14-29 years * literature in 8 languages

HIV/AIDS, Hep C and Harm Reduction services. Our mission is to assist and support all people infected and/or affected by HIV/AIDS and/or Hepatitis C and to limit the spread of the viruses through education, outreach and treatment strategies. We service North Bay and area (from Moosonee to Parry Sound).

We provide:
– Counselling and support groups to discuss any concerns related to HIV/AIDS or Hepatitis C
– Needle exchange
– Harm reduction programs
– Health kits, consultation, and vaccinations
– Education and referral to other programs as needed
