Huron Perth Public Health (HPPH) provides sexual health clinics that offer low-cost birth control options, free condoms/dental dams, and HIV/STI testing, treatment and referrals. We provide a caring, non-judgemental environment to discuss topics including emergency contraception, pregnancy testing and options counselling, and general sexual health information and support.

HPPH Sexual Health Clinics are available in Clinton, Wingham, Stratford, Listowel and St. Marys. Clinics are also provided in some area high schools. Community clinic dates, times and locations can be found at: www.hpph.ca/sexualhealth.

SIC Queer Initiatives, Queen’s University

SIC’s Queer Initiatives is a student-led, education-focused program under the Alma Mater Society (AMS) at Queen’s University, dedicated to supporting the 2SLGBTQA+ community. We strive to foster inclusion, education, and advocacy on campus and beyond through various activities and events. Our work includes hosting weekly discussions on relevant topics and issues affecting the 2SLGBTQA+ community, providing a platform for dialogue and shared learning. We also organize signature events such as Queer Prom, an annual celebration of love, identity, and community. Additionally, we produce a queer-focused podcast to amplify diverse voices and perspectives while organizing social and political events that inspire connection and advocacy. Outreach is a key part of our work, and we run educational campaigns to raise awareness and promote understanding. Our physical space, located in the LaSalle Building at 146 Stuart Street, offers an inclusive environment where individuals can gather, access resources, and connect with others. SKETCH Working Arts is a community-arts enterprise based in Toronto engaging young QTBIPOC artists and arts leaders, on the margins, ages 16-29, coming from across Canada. SKETCH creates equitable opportunities for diverse young people to experience the transformative power of the arts; to develop their leadership and self-sufficiency in the arts; and to cultivate social and environmental change through the arts.
